Our
Story

Building Community. Inspiring Performance.

At Ryde Rugby, it’s not just about the game.

We believe it’s about building a community that our parents, friends, and kids are proud and passionate to be part of.

Ryde Rugby is a grassroots rugby union club proudly representing Ryde and the surrounding area. As a junior rugby club, our values are built on teamwork, respect, development, and community connection. We are more than just match day - we are a community hub that brings together players, families, and supporters.

Rugby is about being part of a team, learning new skills, making great mates, and having fun - and that’s exactly what we aim to provide at Ryde. Every child who pulls on a jersey has the opportunity to fall in love with the game.

Our club caters to all junior age groups, from Under 6s (ages 4 and up) through to Under 17s and Opens. We train on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm at our home ground, Ryde Park.

We are proud to have a dedicated coaching team at Ryde. All of our coaches and trainers are fully accredited and committed to bringing out the very best in every player.

Our role in the community

Grassroots rugby plays a vital role in our local community. Driven by dedicated volunteers, parents, coaches, and referees, the club brings families together through a shared love of rugby, teamwork, and community.

Our club contributes to physical wellbeing, mental health, and community pride.
