RYDE JUNIOR Rugby are hosting a Nambian Rugby Tour this Friday the 5th of May from 6pm. They will have UNDER 12 & 13s playing RYDE and Eastwood village clubs in a friendly game of Junior Rugby followed by a traditional AussIE BBQ with a South African twist. Ryde Council and Roy Maggio have arranged all boys to attend Ryde AQUATIC Centre during Friday in a wonderful gesture if friendship. Thanks to Roy and Ryde Council for their on going support of Junior Rugby in Ryde.

It should be two cracker games on Friday night and the BBQ will be running so come down to Ryde International and support the RYDE Boys !!

Welcome to a brand new season of Ryde Rugby! We are looking foward to a mighty season once again. Our great club has grown year on year and with Ryde fielding teams for u/6 -through to u/15's in 2017, it will be no different.

This year we finally have online registation available. Hopefully the online feature registration will make the registration process much more stream-lined and easier for returning players and new players alike.

In addition to the online registration option we will have two in Feburary for those who want to come along to Ryde Park and register face to face and collect or buy Ryde Rugby gear for the 2017 season.

We find ourselves at the end of March again which means training is well underway across all age groups.

It's been a busy month with team numbers and registrations being finalised, positions sorted out, and two Club trial games under our belts.

Numbers are again looking healthy this year with the club able to sport two teams in most age groups and for the first time in a long time an U14 team too. With Ryde nudging 150 kids playing rugby, we are looking forward to a cracker 2016 for Rugby Rugby and its members !!

Last Sunday Ryde was involved in the All Eastwood trial games at Kingsdene and from the feedback it was a hugely enjoyable weekend right from our mighty u6 team through to our u/14 team rounding out the weekend on Sunday afternoon at TG Milner.

Round 1 has been set for this weekend with the U/10s kicking off the weekend on Friday night against Lane Cove, our U/6&7's going to Pennant Hills and U8&9 at Kingdene on Saturday whilst also completing a tackle clinic on the day.

Ryde U11&12 age groups will complete the weekend on Sunday with games in Curl Curl and Rose Bay.

Please remember that all game times and teams will be available on the Team App. If you have not downloaded the app yet yet please go to iTunes or the Android app store and download the Team app and sign up.

Good luck to all teams this weekend and do what RYDE does best - play good hard rugby but most importantly have fun.

Select 'register' on the left hand side of the screen Select the 'sign up' option just under the 'sign in' highlighted bar.

Fill in all the registration information making sure you select Ryde JRUFC as your club and in team select your age group for 2016 year.

For u/10 - u/14's:

There should already be an email registered as part of the old Buddha system. Please click on the 'Forgot password? ' to generate a new password. Alternatively select the 'sign up' button to create a record.

19th and 27h February 2016 TG Millner Field (Eastwood Rugby Club) 146-150 Vimiera Road, Marsfield

This 2 week program is ideal for boys and girls from Kindy to Year 2 who want to see if they would like to play rugby but without committing to a full registration. There is no tackling involved and kids can participate in skills, drills and games as an introduction to rugby.

Cost of just $35! (cost will be deducted from 2015 registration fees)
